Page Layout
Purpose - to specify the rules regarding the layout of your pages
ready for printing.
The Page Layout dialog is divided into 9 main areas:
- Score Names - these are the names that appear at the start of each
line
- Headers and Footers - this is where you specify the song title, composer,
arranger and footnote
- Family Order - this defines the family order and how they are bracketed
- Margins - here you can define the margins of your page
- Scaling - both the width and height can be scaled separately between
20% and 200%
- Score Mode - affects how drum notation, note ornaments, and song
structure are displayed
- Pitch Mode - affects how transposing instruments are displayed
- Page Numbering - affects how, where and when pages are numbered
- Bar Numbering - affects how and when bars are numbered
